With a brand named Filthy Society, one might think the words convey negativity. In part that is true because as a society, we are filthy. We are far from perfect. We break each other down to make ourselves feel better. It's a cruel world. We may have good intentions but sometimes our words hurt those closest to us. All these things can bring us down and take us towards a dark place but it doesn't have to be that way. We are still valuable, we are still worthy of love. It starts with sharing our experiences, being open and transparent.
Like an underdog story, we love turning unassuming things into glory. In a society that values perfection and presenting oneself in the ideal light, we seek authenticity. We want to hear stories filled with all types of emotions, broken or whole. We want realness because sometimes things get ugly and messy. Emotions become silent and unseen.
